• He graduated from Sharif University and has been active in the field of maritime management for more than 30 years.
• He was the Managing Director of an International Transportation Company in the United States .
• In 1980, He became Deputy Minister of Coordination and Ministry Parliament of Commerce for one year, after which he was transferred to the Red Crescent Society and Rescue Officer.
• He joined the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines in 1981 as the Chairman and Managing Director, a position that he held for four years, after which, he was appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of NITC.
• In 2005, Mohammed Souri received the International Maritime Trade Award, and NITC was selected as the best oil company in the world.
• He is also a Board Member of 10 other international and local organizations.
